My partner was told she could potentially have a serious medical issue. She wanted me to come in with her, and support her while the procedure was undertaken. Yet the ultrasound practitioner told me I was not welcome in the room. I sat in the waiting room, so concerned for her.
I am sure that if it was her mother with her, the woman practitioner would NOT have said a word about it. It made me feel extremely embarrassed to go there to support her. I will be making a formal complaint for discrimination.
Additionally, the doctor just contacted us to let us know the results were not sent through, and that it was poor practice.
I will post the practitioner’s name here when I find out what it is. DO NOT GO HERE!
